***LOOKING FOR A HOME*** We have a 1-3 year old male pit bull mix looking for his forever home! He’s being fostered by one of our staff. He came to me by surprise from a bad situation. He is a really good boy!! He’s great with other dogs but has shown signs of food aggression towards dogs. He’s curious about cats but leaves them alone. He knows sit and stay. He’s working on his crate training but is doing very well so far! We’re also working on the jumping which has been goi...ng great too. He’s an excellent listener and is very food motivated! He just needs someone who is willing to work with his high energy. He’s had no training prior to now. He destroys toys like it’s his job! He has been tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases. He’s Lyme positive which is being treated. He has terrible skin which is also being treated. He is rabies and distemper/parvo vaccinated. With a lot of changes and operating curbside, we are sometimes experiencing longer than usual wait times. These changes along with the inability to come inside with your pet can be stressful. Please remember that everything we do is to keep both you, your pet, and the staff safe and healthy.... We appreciate so much your patience and kindness towards the staff, as we navigate these times together. We can assure you that we are moving as quickly as possible, while maintaining the highest level of care your pet deserves. Moving to curbside service has been an adjustment for us all and we miss having you in the hospital. Just as a friendly reminder, we request all refill requests be made at least 24 hours in advance.
