Just a reminder that there will be no Gloversville Transit Bus service on Wednesday, November 11th.

Gloversville City Bus Route Hour Change: Beginning on November 2nd, the Gloversville bus will add the last hour back on the schedule. That means the hours will be from 6am to 6pm Monday through Friday and 9am to 3pm on Saturdays. Have a great weekend!

***** This is a service update. ***** Starting Thursday, July 23rd, 2020. The FMCC/Industrial Park/DSS bus route will now operate as an Demand-Response service. This means the bus will operate when we are called for an appointment for someone along the route. ... Demand-Response service provides a public transport service in areas of low passenger demand where a regular bus service is not considered to be financially viable. This will remain in effect until we start our FMCC schedule again, as of right now should normally start the first week of September. If you have any questions, please contact us at 518-773-4528.

Good afternoon all, just a notice that we will be closed for operations on July 3rd, in observance of Independence Day. We will also start our Saturday bus run again on July 11th! The Gloversville bus will run from 9:00am and end at 2:00pm. That means the last bus leaves City Hall at 1:00pm.

Updated Industrial Park Run Times

UPDATE to Industrial Park run: The times on the last run have changed just a bit (now leaving Gloversville at 3:15) to make sure we get anyone leaving work from the Industrial Parks at 3:30pm. Any questions please call the office - 518-773-4528

Sorry, this was posted on my personal page instead of this page... Beginning Monday, June 1st all runs will again be operational. The Gloversville run will end an hour early, so it will run only until 5pm. Also, there will be no Saturday service for now. The Industrial Park bus will run its normal time at 6am and continue throughout the day, main change is that it will not got to FMCC. A map with the updated times and route will follow as soon as I can get it out there. ...This will be temporary through the summer as we wait and see what is happening at FMCC. The Amsterdam bus will be back on its normal schedule. All buses will continue limited seating and require a mask to ride. If you travel with someone that lives with you in the same household, you can share a set of seats, which will allow more passengers on the bus. Good morning, just a reminder that all of the GTS buses are running again as of today. The Gloversville bus is running the same schedule as always with the exception of run no #12 and no Saturday Service. Amsterdam is running is normal schedule. Good morning and I hope you had a fantastic holiday weekend. Just putting some info out there as we plan to open a bit more on Monday, June 1st with some more runs. Our Industrial Park run will begin again on that day with some modifications. We will not run out to FMCC as their campus is closed for the summer. We will go to the Industrial Parks at the times that we used to with some modifications to the rest of the route. Our Gloversville run will expand its times back to closer to normal, still with limited seating. Amsterdam will run its normal times again, with limited seating. More info and maps to come!

A little news story

Today is the day, please be patient with us as the weather last night is not helping. Bleecker St has many limbs and wires down so our route will be affected there as well as Woodward Ave. We will do our best to maintain the normal route where possible. Remember, you MUST have a face covering, and we are limiting the ridership to 4 people at a time to do our best to maintain social distancing.

Town Hall Meeting discussing Transit

Well, we are gonna give the Gloversville Route a try starting Monday, April 27th! We will start at 10:00 am and run 5 consecutive runs. We will only have room for 4 people at a time on the bus, so we will run 2 buses together following each other around the city. You will be required to have a face covering of your mouth and nose or you will not be allowed on the bus. FYI... We are still doing non-emergency medical transportation set up through MAS as well as pre-arranged individual trips on a case-by-case basis. We will be back to business as soon as we can, but until then, please stay home as much as possible to help protect yourself and others from this situation we are all dealing with.
