Being a practitioner in the field working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and older adults, I’ve noticed there is a gap in the research. The more research we have related to physical activity that shows what they’re doing is really working, the more chance there is for funding that will directly impact their quality of life. #InclusiveHealth

Getting a flu vaccine during 2020-2021 is more important than ever because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Flu vaccination is especially important for people who are at high risk for getting the flu, many of whom are also at high risk for COVID-19. Special Olympics is sharing flu resources and education materials provided by the Centers For Disease Control (CDC) that you can use and share. So check it out! #FightFlu #InclusiveHealth
