Greta Thunberg is a Swedish environmental activist. She began a global movement in 2018 by going on a school strike for climate called Fridays for Future. Her strike inspired hundreds of thousands of students around the world to participate in their own Fridays for Future. Thunberg received several invitations to speak about climate change. Malala Yousfzai was shot by a Taliban in Pakistan for standing up and advocating for female education. She survived and was able to tell her story. In 2014, she became the youngest person to receive the Nobel Piece Prize. She published an autobiographical book, I Am Malala.
