May I invite you to take up this pursuit and seek the Presence and Power of Holy ...Spirit in ways you never have before, as we set our hearts in anticipation and expectation of Him moving in our lives in a fresh way?!! - Pastor Darren E Butler, Sr Day 8 - Be of Good Cheer (An Excerpt) The works of the flesh (sin) create a barrier that keeps us from experiencing the love and presence of Father God. The priests who served in the Old Testament temple knew well that the presence of our holy God would not manifest until the issue of sin was addressed at the altar of sacrifice. To experience the Holy Spirit in our mortal temples, we must apply this principle. As we humbly fall to our knees each day, repenting of the thoughts and actions we engage in without regard for our Creator, we’ll experience Yeshua’s blood washing away all that has kept us from truly knowing Father’s love and forgiveness. Thank You, Yeshua, for Your blood that covers my sin and releases me into the presence of my loving Father. Continue to wash me and transform me so that I may experience my Comforter, the Holy Spirit, and walk with my Father in joy and good cheer.

Father has called you out of darkness and filled you with Himself. He now sends you into a strange and foreign land of souls who are alienated from Father’s love and in need of our Savior. The Lord releases us into this world to be lighthouses that draw all men into the light of Yeshua. Father, thank You for choosing me and loving me so much that You sent Jesus to save me, forgive me, and release me into Your arms. You bring me life and hope. Fill me afresh with Your love today. I look for doors of opportunity to take Your light and hope to those desperately in need of You. Give me Your wisdom and discernment, and equip me to walk and speak with Your heart. May my life testify of Your love and ways so others will be drawn to seek and know You as their Lord and Savior.

Anything other than sheep-like decorum from those of us that claim to name The Name of Jesus Christ, is wild, undisciplined, highly inappropriate and ungodly behavior. Let us remember, our deportment as believers is MUCH LOUDER than the declarations of our doctrines. Let's allow Holy Spirit to develop Christ-like character in us that comes through the embrace of a sheep-like posture, because we are unconditionally submitted to the Shepherd and Bishop of our souls, Jesus. The conduct that will emanate from that kind of character will create an attraction that carves out many opportunities for conversations about the faith we profess and possess. - Darren E Butler Sr

I am on the verge of watching something happen in my life that I thought was too far gone to come to pass. I had inwardly resigned myself to rationalizing and justifying that it was okay because I experienced "other things". Secretly, I really wanted it to happen, but I suppressed the desire, reasoning it was too late. The problem is God NEVER SAID IT WAS TOO LATE. And, He turned what I considered "lateness" into TIMELINESS! If you can grasp this, just like He did for Caleb, ...God deliberately preserved and prolonged your life to bring you to and over this mountain, taking it and conquering it, at a time you thought it impossible. He did this to show you Himself and who you are in Him. Have a funeral and a graveside ceremony for all the "It will never happen" situations in your life, and bury that mentality.
