Pro Snow Removal

This year we started putting Site Cams at the properties we service. This allowed us to monitor weather conditions 24/7 without being on site. This allowed us to get to our site just before service was needed, thus completely eliminating our response times. This was HUGE for us as we service both Cortland and Onondaga counties. An hour apart, there could be a big difference in weather conditions.

A pretty cool thing happened this winter. We teamed up with RCCS Rofeh Cholim Cancer Society in Chicago, Illinois for their RCCS Winter Classic. This great organization dropped the puck and faced off against cancer in support of their cancer patients. Due to Covid, they had to move their games outside. Needle cast disease has taken over in the northeast. All blue spruce trees have most likely contracted the disease by now. It’s a fungal disease that causes the needles to turn brown and fall off from the inside out. We are replacing 8 dieseased blue spruces with 12 really nice Norway spruces. The Norway spruce growth is a little faster then the common blue spruce at about 18 each year. If you are looking to replace your diseased blue spruce trees, now is the time. Fall provides the best conditions for planting.
