Goshen Humane Society fundraiser for Savannahs surgery/medical bills

A very special lady Brenda and a very lucky kitty Savannah will soon be together. Savannah came to us in pretty bad shape and ended up having to have surgery. She is recuperating well at Goshen Humane Society, and this lovely lady Brenda is the perfect person to adopt Savannah. We couldn’t be happier for these two. Brenda stopped by today and as you can see, she brought along many goodies for the shelter and was very generous!! Thank you Brenda!! It warms my heart knowing Savannah came into our lives just when she needed us most, and now when you’re ready to leave us, we know that Brenda will take over and continue to give you the same love and care! A perfect union!!

It’s a beautiful day outside, and Amy wanted to show how much fun her and Dasher are having in the nice weather we’re having. The other dogs weren’t into selfies as they were running around and wouldn’t stand still, but Dasher is always up for a selfie. Thank’s for all the love you gave to the pups today Amy. You’ll all sleep well tonight .

Our new website went live yesterday www.goshenhumanesociety.org Our old one needed updating and it had been hacked by the best unfortunately and was un fixable . Donations can now be made online using paypal. Please be patient as it was important to get the website up, and we will be making updates in the updates over the next couple of weeks (pictures, stories, fundraisers online, etc.....). So our friend the Target Dog that was found wandering at night on Gibson a couple weeks ago is leaving today for his 4-ever home with a friend of mine. He was dumped by a Tow Truck Company that I’ll leave un named. He’s one lucky dog! His new name for his new start in life is Tucker!! We’re really happy for you Tucker! Be a good boy

I wanted to give a shout out to CYA Fire, Inc. Fire Protection. They did our fire inspection, tagged our fire extinguishers and hung them where they needed to be (super happy w/the price,) as our new insurer needed this. Pete came out himself and was great w/my staff. When my husband called him, he came out the next morning. Great service, great prices, and very, very accommodating! I have to be honest in that I was given another name originally, however I was at the dog park in Montgomery and happened to see his wife (she didn’t know it was me) and I saw they had several dogs, so I know it was meant to be to call them! So if you need this service, this is the place to call. Big thumbs up.

Goshen Humane Society wants to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a very happy holiday season! We also want to THANK EVERYONE who has donated over the past couple of months, and especially during the month of December. We are incredibly grateful for ALL the donations of food, cleaning supplies, toys, blankets, towels, and monetary donations which primarily go towards Veterinary bills. It is amazing how thoughtful and generous people are especially during the hard times that we have all come upon in 2020. Our wish is that everyone stay healthy and safe! THANK YOU!! I happened to go to the shelter to change outdoor lightbulbs and someone drove up with this incredible donation but would like to remain anonymous. He and his wife actually donate throughout the year and are very generous to the shelter as they have adopted two of our wonderful cats from GHS. They show up on a regular basis and donate, however considering how tough this year has been for everybody I have to acknowledge as many donations as possible!! TY
