We're back with a Meet the Team Monday interview from Mari McGrath in Web Development & Support! Interviewer: If you could choose to do anything for a day what would it be? Mari: Read, uninterrupted, snuggled on the couch with my dog, Hadley, and cat, Pumpkin. There would also be coffee, no cream or sugar, you monsters!... Interviewer: What super powers would you choose? Mari: Invisibility and teleporting. Invisibility because social interactions & I don't exactly see eye to eye. And teleporting because I live almost an hour away from work, so cutting down on the commute would be magic. Interviewer: What's the top destination on your must-visit list? Mari: DENMARK! I started reading about Denmark a few years ago and the country and its people seem amazing. They are weary of strangers, so am I; they don't really leave their house in winter, neither do I; they enjoy weird stuff, like dancing cows, and having a drinknot the cows...the people. They really seem like my people and if I get there, there is a great probability I am not coming back. Interviewer: What's your favorite color? Mari: Green & grey...or is it "gray"? This week's Meet the Team Monday is an interview with Junior Sales Associate, Joey Romano: What is your go-to song for singing karaoke? Joey: Every summer when I'm out in the Hamptons with my family, they always make me sing my incredible rendition of "Party in the USA" by Miley Cyrus. And might I add, I kill it every time! Once I get going, everyone is singing along.... What surprised you the most about DXP? Joey: How absolutely massive the facility is. I did not expect to see a warehouse, a mailroom, and a production floor all in the same building. Not to mention the other half is filled up with offices. The whole operation is really impressive. What is your favorite sports team? Joey: The first sports team I ever liked was the NY Yankees, dating back to the days when I watched it with my grandma when she was chain-smoking cigarettes in her apartment. But I am a soccer player and very into soccer and have to go with English soccer, meaning Arsenal. I get more excited when they win than when the Yankees win, so I guess I have to go with Arsenal. What is your favorite tv show/series? Joey: The Office. I have probably watched the entire series 5 times. Jeremy: I would spend it with my daughter. We would go swimming, play around, get her really tired out and then relax and have some down time.... What is your favorite meal? Jeremy: Chicken wingsthe way I make them. I grill them and shake them in the sauce afterwards to make them crispy and they just fall apart in your mouth. What's something people do not know about you? Jeremy: Lacrosse is not my favorite sport; hockey is. I played lacrosse up through college, but I love hockey. My team is the Boston Bruins. Jack: Walk around Disney World on a sunny day while it’s cold and snowy at home in NY.... Jodi: What’s the top destination on your must-visit list? Jack: Italy. I went there with my wife, brother, and sister-in-law about 10 years ago with Adventures by Disney, and it was the trip of a lifetime. Jodi: What's your favorite sports team? Jack: The New York Yankees Jodi: What's your favorite color? Jack: Burgundy Jodi: What's your favorite meal? Jack: Pasta! My mother used to make her own, and it was the best. Pasta is my comfort food.

Welcome to DXP’s inaugural edition of Meet the Team Monday! We’re kicking off our series with a few fun questions our sales rep, Jeremy posed to help you get to know our fearless leader, Jodi Hess, a little better. Jeremy: What does an ideal day look like for you?... Jodi: I have two daughters, Amelia is 4 and Lydia is 3 and I love spending time with them. I love running too, so I would probably go for a run early in the morning and watch the sunrise as I’m running. Then I’d go home and make pancakes with the girls, go hiking with them, have lunch outside in the backyard, spend the afternoon playing with them, relaxing and reading. The girls love sushi so I’d take them out for a sushi dinner, and then after they go to bed, I’d sit outside by the fire with a glass of wine. Jeremy: If you could have any superpower, what would it be? Jodi: I’ve always wanted to teleport. I love to travel, but travel is exhaustingso I’d definitely pick teleporting. Jeremy: What’s a top destination on your must-visit list that you haven’t been to yet? Jodi: I would love to go to Africa. I love elephants and I’d like to do a safari and see all the different animals in their natural habitat. Jeremy: What’s your favorite sports team? Jodi: The Yankees! I’ve been a Yankee fan since I was thirteen. I had the chance to go see the World Series in 1999. I went to Game 4 where the Yankees swept the Braves. It was an amazing thing to see! Jeremy: If you were not in your current role, what other career would you have gone into? Jodi: I’m an attorney and I probably would have done something along the lines of being a district attorney or I would have tried to join Cirque de Soleil.
