Looking for the perfect meat recipe to add to your Shavuous menu? Look no further, because our classic California roast recipe is a guaranteed winner! INGREDIENTS 1 3-4 lb. California Roast (Chuck Eye Roast) 1 lb. diced potatoes ... 1 cup ketchup cup onion soup mix 2 tablespoons dried minced garlic Seasoning salt Preheat oven to 250 F. Mix the ketchup and onion soup mix and set aside. Dice the potatoes. Place roast in 9 x 13 roasting pan with diced potatoes around it. Sprinkle with seasoning salt. Smear ketchup mixture over the roast. Fill the pan with water to cover about half of the roast. Sprinkle generously with dried minced garlic Cover and bake four 4 hours. Cool completely and slice. You can reheat this roast submerged in gravy as much as possible for at least 1 hour. #gourmetglatt #gourmetglatt5t #koshermeat #kosherbutcher #shavuous #shavuous2020

In honor of tomorrow being both #cincodemayo and #tacotuesday, we’re throwing it back to one of our all time favorite meat recipes - BBQ Shredded Beef! The best part of this recipe? Throw it in the crockpot in the morning, and forget about it until it’s time for dinner! RECIPE 1 3 lb. Chuck Roast 1 large onion, thinly sliced ... Paprika 2 cloves frozen crushed garlic cubes Salt & Pepper Hunt’s Hickory & Brown Sugar BBQ Sauce (or any flavor you like) DIRECTIONS Place the sliced onions and garlic in a crock pot. Top with meat and sprinkle entire roast with salt, pepper & paprika. Fill the crock pot with water until the level is at the middle of the roast. Set crock pot on low and cook for 6-8 hours. Remove meat and shred with a fork and knife. Add a generous amount of BBQ sauce and serve. Can be eaten plain or put in a pita or bun as a sandwich. #gourmetglatt #kosherfood #koshermeat #tacotuesday
