The Gouverneur Community Center along with our wonderful cook, Paul and his staff, would like to thank the Gouverneur Community for making the good will spaghetti dinner a success for all. It is great to see a community come together for the greater good!! All donations will feed many others in need. Special thanks to all that volunteered or donated. We couldn't do it without you!

During this time of social distancing, We may need to look around and insure that some of the elderly are still able to get food and necessities.. if you are a senior or know of any senior who needs to get a good hot meal. PLEASE REACH OUT TO THE GOUVERNEUR COMMUNITY CENTER AT 315-287-2302 or CONTACT DAVE SPILMAN 315-771 -6057. The center is closed for dining in. But they are still doing deliveries Monday thru Friday. They are there to help.

The Father Daughter dance is now Postponed until further notice. Due to the caution of the CORID-19 virus the Health Department is not allowing us more then 50 people in a gathering. All home delivered meal clients will continue to have meals delivered. Congregate clients will be contacted by Office for the Aging staff to discuss their food options. ... This measure is being taken out of an abundance of caution to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus amongst those 60 and above. Older adults are the highest risk level group and should use caution when attending large gatherings. There are still no confirmed positive cases in St. Lawrence County as of this posting. Just a reminder: Gouverneur Community Center can be rented for all kinds of events! We added the deck last May, so now we can accommodate inside and outside parties! Plenty of parking and a beautiful view by the river! Come check us out!
