Now concerning the RAPTURE and what happens after, don’t be upset or alarmed by a spirit, a spoken word, or anything written that says the Day of the Lord, which follows the RAPTURE, has already come. Don’t be deceived. That Day will not come until a great rebellion comes and the 'Man of Lawlessness' is made obvious. He is the son of destruction who will oppose and exalt himself above every so-called god or object mankind worships. He will then seat himself in the Temple cla...iming to be God. Remember Paul's writings. You know what is restraining him now; he will be revealed at the right time. For the 'mystery of lawlessness' is already at work. The one who restrains it will only do so until RAPTURED out of the way. Then the 'Lawless One' will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will kill with a spoken word, when he comes. This 'Lawless One' is from Satan and will have all power, false signs, and wonders. He will deceive those who are perishing due to their refusal to believe the Truth and be saved from what’s coming. So God will send a strong delusion for them to believe the Lie in order to condemn them for not believing the Truth, but instead take pleasure in unrighteousness. (Paraphrase of 2 Thes 2:1-12)
