Grace Community Church of Oneida New York

Grace Community Church of Oneida, NY will officially start meeting starting May 23, 2021 at 4pm. Our meeting location will be at Oneida Presbyterian Church located at 304 Broad St, Oneida, NY 13421. We are happy and excited to get our church plant growing, while focusing and training on the Word of God. We love the Oneida community and can't wait to see what God has instore for us here. In the coming months, as we prepare for the work set before us, we look forward to sharing the vision that God had given this group. At Grace Community Church we want to obey the Biblical Mandate laid forth by Jesus to go into all the world and make Disciples, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The expression of this is the local church, and the activities thereof. At some point modern evangelicalism decided to survey what unbeliever...s wanted in a church, and tried to cater the activities of the church to the carnal desires of carnal men rather than what the bible prescribes for the Worship of God, and the organization of His Church. So we ended up with motivational speeches and rock concerts, and obligatory programs rather than biblical discipleship, the fear of God, and life as the church experienced in the days described in the book of Acts. If you are looking to hear about how to have your best life now, we are not the church for you. If you are looking to leave church on Sunday, feeling like you’ve punched your card, and you’re all set until next week, we are not the church for you. We are a Church dedicated to Christ, with our eyes and hearts set to live like He said to live, to do what He said to do, and love like He said to love. We are people dedicated to picking up our crosses daily, and following after Jesus, who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. We are dedicated to living together in biblical community the way the early church demonstrated. We firmly hold to the truth that there is no room to compromise the Gospel, it is the very power of God unto salvation, the ONLY way unto salvation. Any teaching to the contrary of the Bible’s instruction on salvation, life, and godliness, any attempt to add works to salvation By Grace alone thought Faith alone, and any teacher propagating such things are a man accursed, devoted to the direst of woes. As a congregation we will seek to do all things to the Glory of God, alone, as any true freedom there is can only be found in salvation, devotion and service to Jesus Christ, our Lord. See more
