Gethsemene was Satan's last chance to keep Jesus from the cross.

A nameless person provided the animal for Jesus to ride, a nameless person provided the upper room, a nameless person provided the garden of Gethsemene where Jesus could rest and pray. Amidst all the hatred, people known to God, gave Jesus what He needed in the final hours.

After the 70 year captivity in Babylon, Israel never worshiped idols again.

In the New Testament, Satan tried to kill Jesus 4 times, through Herod, through the temptation, when Nazarenes tried to push Him off a cliff, and finally the cross. But Jesus rose again. So we could call Satan a looser.
