It’s Small Business Saturday! This week’s small business that I would like to recommend is Thayer Appliance on West Seneca St in Ithaca. How frustrating is it to go to Lowe’s or Home Depot and spend 10 minutes just trying to find an employee to help you? Thayer has amazing customer service to help you immediately, but without being pushy or sale-sy. I purchased a washing machine from them recently for one of our rentals and the whole process could not have been easier. Plus..., it was actually cheaper than the machines we saw at the big box stores! For $40 extra, they delivered it, installed it, and disposed of the old one. They gave a delivery window of one hour and showed up right on time. I recently recommended Thayer to a customer who thought they needed a new stove. Thayer actually advised it was unnecessary and they just needed to make a minor repair to the old one.
