She has performed widely in New York, and New Jersey including at the Peoples Improv Theatre, the Magnet Theater, Caveat, the Moth, The Fat Black Pussycat, The Liar Show, Kraine Theatre, the Tank, Word of Mouth Storytelling in Lambertville, Montclair StorySLAM, and This Really Happened at the Hopewell Theatre. Carla is also co-producer, with Adam Wade of the Hoboken-based On the Waterfront Storytelling Series. By day, she is a labor lawyer, union leader, and professor.
