This piece won an ADDY award at the 2018 WNY American Advertising Awards for the most creative use of paper. Crowley Webb came to us in the 11th hour after their printing vendor told them this would be impossible to produce. Never ones to back away from a challenge, we put our heads together and not only achieved their vision, but produced it in 2 days within budget! Although not credited,we are very glad to have been a part of this project.

The complete process! With using different amounts of impression for each pass it gives the appearance of a multilevel emboss. The black eyes and nose are a black metallic foil. These were printed on our 1907 Chandler & Price Letterpress.
