This is slightly an anomaly for me as I’m not posting up a customer amp but instead posting up a personal purchase. This is a RedPlate BlackVerb100 combo that I purchased a little while ago. Any time I get to work on a Redplate Amp, it is always a pleasure. Though everything is so clean and organized, it’s almost unnerving.
Pro-tip: if you have power coming in on the black wire above, the tiny little wire below is not appropriate to carry the voltage and current from the ground switch to the power switch. Note the melting and other nastiness. This was pulled out of a 1967 Fender Showman. Just because there is a three prong cord installed on the vintage amp, don’t assume things are good to go throughout. Have it checked out by someone you trust with these things.
