Nice views of Long Lake and Raquette Lake

A misty Adirondack autumn morning at the Cascade Lakes Day Use Area off NYS Route 73 between Keene Valley and Lake Placid NY. The first two are of Lower Cascade... Lake and the third is Upper Cascade Lake. Geology Fact: Both of these lakes are actually situated along a geological fault line that trends northeast like most of the other lakes and some ponds here in the Adirondacks. The second photo is frost and ADK autumn color on the High Peaks as seen from NYS Route 73. I think the peaks are Algonquin and Colden.
