Here are just a few examples of from local businesses: Many restaurants (Damas Falafel House, Putnam's Pub & Cooker Los Pollos 3 Joe & Sal's Pizza Crown Heights (Myrtle) to name a few) provided hundreds of meals to local healthcare workers at @official_tbhc ; Elissa at Green in BKLYN donated profits for mask sales to support the #myrtleave pantry and other local causes; Ahmad at Villa Pancho Taqueria before his passing in June ran errands for our weekly pantry; Kym at Brooklyn Sweet Spot provided free bagged lunches every Friday; Soco donated turkeys to our annual turkey giveaway and collected toys for a toy drive; Petee's Pie Company and Connecticut Muffin regularly donated to the FG Community Fridge ; Jill Lindsey partnered with us and @iclnyc to and to raise $7,500 for residents of the Tillary St Women’s Shelter; Karin at Corkscrew Brooklyn raised $1k+, used to deliver meals to essential workers at MERCY HOME And now we’re crying Please, please, please #SHOPLOCAL!!
