From today’s NYT article on adult acne: Hormones are another factor. Birth control pills are being prescribed ever younger and more frequently, so when women stop taking them, sometimes 20 years later, it’s the first time the oil glands are subject to the normal cyclical changes of hormones. So pleased with myself . Attended to all the various body parts with all my natural helpers....A bit of billberry & fennel cream for those spider veins, a bit of Silica oil on legs to prevent ingrown hair, hypericum lavender oil on the area where there seems to be a little stomach colic going on and some CBD Arnica salve on the hip with the funny ache that I can’t seem to kick....all followed by home made Shea butter carrot oil body cream. And that’s all before I got to my face. What a day of luxury!
