Christmas Trees will be picked up every week through the month of January. Monday pickup for west side of Village and Thursday pick up for east side of Village. Please put your tree out at the curb.

Reminder to Village Residents: Recycling will be on Saturday this week due to the holiday.

Village of Greenwood Lake Court for Tuesday December 22nd has been cancelled. The Court will be sending out letters to anyone that was scheduled to appear.

Attention Residents: Recycling will be on Saturdays for the next three weeks instead of Fridays due to the holidays. Regular Friday Recycling will begin again on Friday January 8th.

***EMERGENCY SHELTER / WARMING LOCATION*** The Village Community Center (old firehouse) located on Waterstone Road next to the police station will be the emergency shelter / warming facility for ANYONE who may need it. The building is on a generator and will have wifi (password is teencenter), fresh water, heat and electricity should you need it. We are seeking individuals who are highly motivated and possess strong communication & interpersonal skills, maintain attention to detail, have a working knowledge of computers and demonstrate a positive attitude while adapting and reacting to sudden changes in a fast-paced public safety environment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: receiving, processing & dispatching emergency and non-emergency calls for service (police, fire & EMS); operating and maintaining proficient use of all communications equipment; handling stressful situations and working well under pressure for an extended period of time. The job requirements include, but are not limited to: the ability to see and hear accurately; excellent typing and related computer skills; the ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously; the ability to acquire and maintain job related certifications & training requirements. The starting hourly rate is $20.00/hour for our A-line tours of duty.
