Expand employment 75 full time equivalent jobs - Average pay is $31,000 which is $2,072 above the current market pay for this role in Hamburg. This does not include the fringe benefits that Amazon provides. Raising standards for workers, communities and providing an opportunity to advance with this thriving company. Boost the tax base by establishing $47.2 million dollars of construction on a parcel that has produced no revenue for any taxing jurisdiction. Provide a local developer and woman owned construction company with an opportunity to spend $13.5 million and create over 250 construction jobs. As this incentive is applied $6.85 million (over 10 years), Hamburg will benefit from $35 million in new wages not including spin off from 3rd party drivers and local economic impact. There have been 75 local contractors invited to bid on the proposed project. Of the 75 companies solicited, there is only one of the 75 not headquartered in the Local Labor Area as defined as Erie County, Niagara County, Chautauqua County, Cattaraugus County, Allegany County, Wyoming County, Genesee County, and Orleans County. The one firm is headquartered in Rochester and they have a satellite office in Genesee County due to the amount of work they have in the Buffalo market.
