May 14, 2020 Dear Macker World, I hope that you and your local team are doing well. Our offices remain officially closed, but I come in and work with Betty, our bookkeeper, a couple of times a week to address accounting tasks. Noah and Gary are renovating portable baskets in the warehouse. We hope to open our headquarters with normal activities by the beginning of June.... This week marks the conclusion of our 2020 local event decisions on the Gus Macker Tournaments. This schedule may be adjusted in early June, due to local coronavirus regulations and concerns. Dear Macker Communities, We are still practicing good social distancing at Gus Macker. Our staff is working from home, waiting for the Stay at Home program to be lifted. We hope all of you remain healthy and that your local community is handling the crisis well. This week marks our halfway point in the 2020 tournament schedule. I will be providing our players and the general public with a video update on our event status. Also, we’ll put the new tour schedule on the web...site and in the email blast. Here are the changes for the last five originally scheduled weekends in June: 1. Ludington, MI - moved to June 19-20, 2021 2. St. Paul, MN - postponed to September, 2020 3. Cedar Rapids, IA - moved to 2021 4. Greenville, MI - postponed to August 8-9, 2020 5. Ishpeming, MI - moved to June 26-27, 2021 We will be contacting the last two and one half months of the 2020 events (July - September) in the next two weeks. I appreciate your interaction with me on your local situation. Please rest assured that we will not compromise on the health and safety of our players, volunteers, families, spectators and local host cities.
