Marcellus High School Presents Guys & Dolls

Last night after rehearsal I went home and made notes of things to go over and went over the entire show in my head. Over and Over and Over again. Quite honestly, considering the show that we are doing, the extent of the acting/singing/dancing, the amount of time that we have to make everything perfect, etc... The show is really shaping up nicely. From my point of view, there are only a few dances that need to be worked on which really has not much to do with the cast as ...a whole. Havana... which we have yet to complete. Crapshooters dance which is was just completed days ago and is so very difficult anyway especially after adding the pit in. Luck Be a Lady which is probably one of the more difficult songs in the entire show, speaking as a choreographer. Marry the Man Today which was just changed up a bit. Have patience with me as I try to get through the next few days of making you look the best that you can look come opening night. AND I promise to have patience with all of you. GREAT rehearsal last night everyone!! That is how I'd like every rehearsal to go!!!!!! I laughed until I cried and we still got a lot accomplished! Sit Down is looking better and better each time we do it! ANDDDD..... Joe Isgar is a great addition to the Hot Box Dancers. I hope you look good in a skirt... :) All boys and HBD have rehearsal tonight. 5:45 - 8!

Good Morning!!!!! I have emailed Mrs. Brown, Mr. Ackles, Mr. Hoey, and Mr. Cirmo my updated schedule for this week. It may look like a lot, but after having to cancel rehearsal twice due to weather, these rehearsals are needed. Also... we are trying to give you guys a little break over your February vacation. I only have one rehearsal scheduled during your vacation and I hope that we can keep it that way. :) Sooo, that being said... Let's get this done and make this weeks rehearsals productive! YAY!!!
