Whenever you hear people complaining about the Democrats stalling the Kavanaugh nomination, you might want to refresh their memory just a tad with this little d...itty... The guy on the left was duly nominated by President Obama after Justice Scalia suddenly died. Obama had 10 months left in office. Senate Republicans refused to give a hearing to nominee Merrick Garland. They even refused to give him a vote. They just flat out refused considering this nominee altogether. And it wasn't because he had been accused of sexual assault like the man on the right. It was purely political, and done so to oppose anybody nominated by Obama in his last year in office, regardless of their qualifications. So for those of you whining about Democrats asking for an investigation into the sexual assault allegations on Judge Kavanaugh...please, spare us your overly dramatic response. It's not a good look for you to feign outrage over an allegation that should be taken seriously and duly vetted. I think Bill Cosby's conviction and jail sentencing is evidence that allegations of sexual assault that happened 30 plus years ago can be true. It may also be true that the woman making the allegation is lying. But does it really put you out that much to have testimony from the woman and an additional FBI investigation performed to look into the matter? At least Kavanaugh will be given the chance for a vote...unlike Merrick Garland who was denied his opportunity for a fair process.
