UPDATE VEHICLE HAS BEEN RECOVERED!! Asking for Public help. Stolen Vehicle was in the Village of Hammondsport this morning. 2006 Chevy Avalanche color Black NY Plates: JAL8533. Should also have emergency light bar attached. Call, email, or message with any information.

Just a reminder no parking on Village of Hammondsport Streets between 02:00 AM - 06:00 AM until April 1.

As today comes to an end. The Hammondsport Police Department would like salute and thank all veterans. These individuals have made great sacrifice for their families and country. They have fought and protected the rights and land, so the citizens of the United States of America can enjoy their everyday freedoms!! Again THANK YOU to all family, friends, and those we do not know, who have, who are, who will be serving in the armed forces!!! We challenge you to make everyday Veterans Day!!

Looking for assistance. On October 31,2020 several political signs were stolen from numerous village residence prior to 9:30PM. Through the investigation a teenage white female blonde hair, wearing white tshirt was observed burning a stolen political sign at the Curtiss School.
