A big congratulations to all of our certified rebreather students and instructors Video was taken in St. Croix where our divers completed their Open Water Dives!
We are so excited to let you know that we will know be selling @relic_design , a local and sustainable apparel brand in store! Relic collaborates with several non-profit organizations such as The Moriches Bay Project and Wild Oyster Project which work hard to keep our oceans clean and protected so we can continue to explore above and below Relic also has partnered up with the Village of Westhampton Beach and other local communities to construct beach clean up stations. There are many reasons why we love this brand and we can’t wait to share some of our future plans/collaborations with you all.

The man, the myth, the legend.... The Phil Somma. Staying warm on the hunt in his dry suit undergarments and @divedui drysuit. Undergarments are a great Christmas gift for not only divers but for your friends and family that hit the slopes in the winter! Photo was taken on The Halftime Charter 11/21

Weekend vibes Who’s your dive buddy this weekend?
The majority of staff at fourth element are female and like all women, we faced the daunting question when picking new gear of what size do I need?!. It can m...ake shopping (especially online) very frustrating. We decided to brave the camera and share our body types, measurements and tips to help our female customers find the right size first time. Of course this doesn’t cover every body shape in the world, but we hope there's a shape and size to identify with; unedited, unfiltered, tried, tested and 100% honest. > https://life.fourthelement.com/size-matters
Instructor Nick teaching his SBU open water students how to place and orient their BCDs and regulators. Do you remember learning about this in your open water course? When and where did you take yours?
Divemaster Candidates Sabrina and Marissa at the end of their 15 minute tread (last 2 minutes with their hands above water) This is only 1/5 skills in the swim test a divemaster must perform. The test evaluates a candidate’s physical abilities and water skills they will need as they pursue a professional route of diving with PADI.
It’s officially blackfish season!! Stop by the store to pick up your spear fishing accessories and look fresh while on the hunt like @dylanwilliams625 does in his custom @divedui drysuit
A TBT of instructor Ed finishing a dive on the Oregon wreck! The Oregon lies in about 125-130 ft of water and is well known for lobsters and artifacts by local divers. In 1886, she was struck on her port side by an unknown schooner and sank five miles off from Fire Island, NY. The Oregon held the record for the fastest Trans-Atlantic crossing (1883 -1885) and has been honored the Blue Riband award.
Instructor Sharon showing this past weekend’s open water students how to use a dive table! An important tool in calculating a divers stay at a particular depth, surface interval and residual nitrogen. Dive tables are the basis for modern dive computers and allows students to better understand the concepts behind their tech
