This week's issue will arrive slightly later than expected. We are still mastering the learning curve for labeling/sorting/mailing. Last week we learned all this is to know about labeling and sorting. This week we mastered the mailing process. NEXT WEEK -- we will get it right on the first go-round! Thank you, to our readers for your patience and understanding.

Apparently The Hancock Herald has been scammed. There is a Classified Ad in this week's edition for Help Wanted (House Cleaner) that is not a legitimate employment opportunity. Please DO NOT respond to the email address provided.
Halloween. As per the decision by the village board on October 12 there will be trick or treating allowed in the village on Saturday, October 31 but safety guidelines MUST be followed. Candy should be wrapped in separate plastic baggies and placed outside the residence to minimize contact. Costumes should not include a mask other than those approved by the CDC. Trick or Treaters should maintain social distancing with only one group at a time approaching a residence to receive candy. There will be no parade or trunk or treat. These regulations align with CDC recommendations.
