A quick, less then one day turn around for a fantastic Harborside customer. With a blown up outdrive on his port side, this customer limped over from Mount Sinai Harbor early this morning. Harborside Marine had a brand new in the box Bravo III X Drive in the correct gear ratio to get Splash back in action immediately. Look at that brand new stern drive right from Mercruiser. We had the boat back in service by the end of the day. Another happy customer! #theboatplaceinc

Harborside Marine at The Boat Place, Inc. pulling a blown transmission on a customers 34’ Sea Ray Sundancer. We’ll detail the engine room while the motor/trans is out. Nothing like a spotless engine room to make a customer happy! Thanks to Paul at Long Island Marine Transmission and Mark from Long Island Propeller for the quick turn around. The marine industry on Long Island is a small, tight knit community. Working closely together with other yards and businesses in the same industry makes for great business practices.

Let Harborside Marine install a new windlass for you. This job was a retrofit. We removed an older Maxwell windlass and installed a new Lewmar Vertical windlass with free fall. No more pulling the anchor up by hand. Hit a switch on the dash and the anchor goes up or down automatically! A remote foot switch at the bow allows the operator to control the anchor from a second position, allowing you to watch what is going on with the anchor.
