Not many kids can say they had a teacher who really help them through school and still keep in contact with em. My six grade teacher been there for me in ways y...ou couldn't even imagine I been through some things and my teach was there for me when I had no one else and to this day he's always kept in touch with me 17 years later. Barrel Racing Season Champion - Sheila Sirak Bareback Riding Season Champion - Daylon Swearingen Bareback Riding Rookie Champion - Daylon Swearingen Saddle Bronc Season Champion - Raymond Hostetler With the ending of our 2015 season, we have had 20 years and several hundred members who have supported HPBR. We appreciate all those who have served as members of the HPBR Board of Directors, stock contractors, hard working wranglers, announcers, rodeo secretaries & timers, judges, pick-up men, bull fighters, contract acts, clowns, and fans with whom we have built life-long friendships and shared so many wonderful experiences and memories. However, it is time to say Thank You and Good-Bye. Twenty years ago, we started when a young stock contractor and young men, who wanted to ride bulls, got together to form an organization that would give opportunities to those young men as they improved their skills and moved up into the rodeo organizations in the mid-90's through the early 2000's. Within the past 10 years, we have found that many rough stock and barrel racing organizations have grown significantly. It is becoming harder and harder to get qualified contestants because of the amount of sport-specific organizations and jackpots that offer more added money. Therefore, the HPBR board of directors has made the decision to close. We continue to support the bull riders, barrel racers, bareback and saddle bronc riders with whom we have worked over the past years. Our best wishes and prayers go with you as you pursue your dreams in the sport you love. Rawhide Rodeo will continue to be a stock contractor in the major rodeo organizations in the northeast, and we look forward to your participation in the APRA, IPRA, and PRCA. Our finals words are each one of you has inspired us and we hope to see you down rodeo road in the future as your fans. GET WELL WISHES GO TO: Daylon Swearingen, who was injured in a rodeo accident on Saturday, August 29. He sustained a concussion and broken foot. He will be facing surgery for his foot in a week or so. Get Well Soon, Daylon!! You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Get Well Wishes go to: Donna Natale, who was in a rodeo accident last weekend and sustained serious injuries. You are in our prayers and we wish you a speedy recovery. Nano Melendez, who broke his wrist in a bull riding accident this past week. You are in our prayers and we hope your recovery is uneventful and quick!

CONGRATULATIONS TO DAYLON SWEARINGEN!! He was in the top 20 in bareback riding, the top 10 in Bull Riding and won ALL AROUND ROOKIE OF THE YEAR for the National High School Rodeo Finals in Wyoming. HPBR is very proud of you!

WELCOME Briar John Sirak to our Hardway family. Briar was born on May 28, 2014. Congratulations to parents Sheila and Justin Sirak.

It is with deep regret we let you know that Dave Wibirt lost his life in an accident in Alabama on May 30. We send our deepest sympathy to his family and to all those in the rodeo family that knew and loved him. Our prayers are with the Wibirt family at this very difficult time.
