To say this engine is my pride and joy is an understatement. Last night I spent some time at the Brian Harris School of Steam. He is a wealth of knowledge and I truly enjoy picking his brain and learning from him.

Steam Show Season is right around the corner. This year we will be taking out our Sawyer Massey. I love this engine.The Sawyer Massey is a 1917, 17hp boiler, 51hp Flywheel and 25hp Draw bar. The boiler and water tanks hold about 150 gallons of water. It is a simple cylinder engine. Brian Harris built a brand new boiler for it in 1994. This engine looks small but it is very Mighty!!
