Happy Saturday to our friends and clients! We are SO looking forward to opening our doors at Harry Bruno Salon soon. We’ve missed you! As of now it looks like we will be able to open on Monday, June 1st. Things can shift rapidly so we are closely monitoring the NY forward site and will keep all of you informed of any changes. The salon experience will look a little different for a while, but it’s important to us to keep everyone comfortable and healthy by following safety gu...idelines. We also need to note that there will be a charge for any cancellations (50% of service). We will all be working less hours in order to keep distance between other operators - so our time has become even more valuable. Please know that when you cancel, it doesn’t give us enough time to fill that appointment with a guest who may have been waiting for that time as well. Additionally, since we have all been without services for way too long (ugh!) there may be an additional charge for extra color or products used to get your hair back to its most healthy and beautiful state. We all thank you in advance for your understanding! The time we have scheduled for our clients is going to be different for us as well. We cannot book colors in between colors, so your appointment time will be dedicated to keeping the area(s) in which we are working completely sanitized and clean for each guest. The guidelines for Harry Bruno Salon will be as follows: Please be prepared with a face covering when you enter the salon. If you are having color services you should plan to bring two masks as one will likely get color on it during your appointment. Please do not bring anyone with you into the salon including children (unless your child is getting a haircut). Please wait in your car until you are called in by our receptionist and your service provider is ready for you. You may also wait in our beautiful garden if you wish. Thorough sanitation will be performed in between every guest. As much as we love to hug and greet our guests with touch, please refrain from this at this time. And PLEASE if you are feeling under the weather, or experiencing any symptoms, give us notice so we can reschedule your appointment. We are so excited to see your faces again, and to provide you with the services that you've loved and missed. Thank you for following our guidelines to keep everyone happy and healthy. Hello all - as you may already know, Governor Cuomo has ordered all salons, barber shops, and tattoo parlors to be closed starting at 8pm tomorrow (March 21). At this time we don't have a timeframe for this order but we are planning to be closed through late next week. We will let you know as soon as we are able to reopen. We are still here for you. Just wanted to reach out to all our clients regarding COVID-19 and how my staff and I are responding to minimize any exposure when coming to the salon. First, please know that we share your feelings of uncertainty and trepidation. It’s a scary time. As a small business owner, I can honestly say I’ve experienced nothing like this before. But we’ll get through this. We will. In the meantime, please be assured that we’ve taken several measures in line with official recommendatio...ns to keep you safe while at the salon. Among them: We are constantly checking in with staff to ensure that everyone is healthy. Those with any symptoms related to coronavirus, or any other illness, will be asked to stay home. We ask the same of our clients. If you are not feeling well, please call the salon and we will happily reschedule your appointment. We are hand-washing before and after working with each client. We are disinfecting doorknobs, stations, chairs, counters and other surfaces between clients. As always, we continue to sanitize combs, brushes, and other tools used at the salon. We are removing all magazines, books, and other shared items that could spread germs. We are practicing social distancing by keeping as much space as possible between clients in chairs. These are just a few of the things we hope will reassure you when coming to the salon. We’re doing what we can to keep everyone safe. We have to because we’re all in this together. We will get through this.

With a heavy hand and heart I am letting you all know that we lost our best friend Henry this week. It was quick and not expected . Louise and George are lost without him and we are all giving them as much attention as possible.
