While we usually operate heavier machinery to fortify our critical infrastructures, today, we hosted New York Blood Center at our Melville office to infuse our healthcare infrastructure with a much-needed blood drive. In addition to stressing our healthcare systems, COVID-19 has fundamentally changed the traditional blood drive process, greatly increasing the need for donations. When hurricanes bring destruction, damage and disaster, Haugland Energy delivers rapid recovery relief. For the last three weeks, we’ve worked tirelessly alongside local utilities, restoring power to the areas hit hardest by Hurricane Laura in LA and TX, seeing firsthand that through darkness and devastation, shines humanity. Community members have extended warm thanks for our assistance, and our crews have helped provide meals to many who have been without. When natural disasters do their worst, HG performs at its best.
