I’m on a plant kick lately and I’ve been cruising the local stores for new stuff. Here is another example of a deadly plant available at Lowes this weekend. Thi...s is a Sago Palm. Ingestion of ANY part of this by dogs or cats is toxic and often results in liver failure and death. The seeds are the most toxic part. If you have pets, do NOT buy this plant. I really wish there was signage by these warning pet owners of their toxicity. #sagopalm

Update: found Update 1/5: we have received many messages and calls about a found dog that looks very similar to our Kacey. Unfortunately it’s not her. She does ...look very similar but I’m sad to say it’s not her. We believe she is still out there. So please continue to keep an eye out and call us if you see her. Also, If you happen to have any nest or ring cameras please check them to see if you may have caught her crossing your lawn or anything. Thanks again for your wonderful support. We are truly touched. Update on missing Bernese Mountain Dog in Diamond Point. We did have several sighting this morning and one possible this evening so we are trying to stay positive. My sister is heartbroken but not giving up. We sought the help of some professionals and were instructed to ask that people not try to track her down but to call us immediately if they see anything. The fear is that she will get spooked and go further away from home if too many people are out looking. We have laid out food, made a trail home with liquid smoke, put out a bed and some familiar items and clothes that smell like her people, hung posters, called local authorities and veterinarians... We are taking turns keeping watch over night. We would like to thank all those that have helped this far. We truly appreciate it. Please call 518-222-0514 with any sighting but please remember to keep your distance if spotted. Thanks again. Update: there was a sighting this morning near the Juliana hotel and ridge rd this morning. This is great news as it means she survived the night. We are still out looking and several others have joined the search. If you happen to be in the area and see her please contact ASAP. She is likely spooked so may not come to you but hopefully will come to my sister. Update 5:45 pm 1/4 possible sighting at Coolidge hill and 9N. Please do not call or chase her just notify us if you see her. 518-222-0514 My sisters Bernese Mountain dog fell in Lake George last night in the Diamond Point area. We believe she made it out of the lake because we were able to see a few tracks near Yankee boating and the motels in that area but have not been able to locate her. She is 5 years old and very friendly but would be scared and disoriented. Unfortunately she is not local so doesn’t know how to get home. If you are in the diamond point or Bolton areas please keep a look out for her. We are all devastated and worried sick. Her name is Kacey. Reward if found!

Keeping up with Covid: As our local numbers continue to rise, here are some basic guidelines we have put in place to keep YOU, US and YOUR Pups safe ! Outs...ide drop offs and pick ups, just call upon arrival and we will be right out to assist you. You may still leash walk your pup prior to your appointment, and kindly wait outside by your vehicle, untill we come out for you. Don’t make us ask, please wear your mask Please send your animal in with as minimal belongings as possible. This means preferably one collar, one leash and one coat. If you do no not feel well, or have been exposed to Co-Vid please cancel your appointment. We at TLC Dog Spa take huge pride in cleanliness as always, so please understand if your typical grooming times are delayed as we work through delingently cleaning and sterilizing our space. Grooming appointments: We are currently not accepting new clients to ensure our existing clients can make appointments when needed. We are currently booking out 4-6 weeks in advance. Walk in Nail clinics: We still offer our $10, no appt. needed nail clinics every Thursday and Saturday from 9-12. Here’s how it works: You do not have to be an existing client to come just simply call upon arrival and wait outside your vehicle untill we come out to take your animal. Please remain social distancing while waiting for our assistance, and don’t forget your mask ! Thank you all so much who have helped us remain safe and keep our doors open during these trying times ! ADOPTED ***Pablo has left the building...watch for an update! THANKS FOR ALL YOUR INTEREST! ** Why is poor Pablo still with us? He honestly has had no int...erest. Pablo was brought to us from another shelter after being there for over 2 years. He really is a good dog. Pablo is good on a leash, knows how to sit, and takes treats gently. Pablo does have a high prey drive so he can't be in a home with small animals. We are looking for someone who will have patience with Pablo. He has been in a shelter his whole life so that is all he knows. Pablo is 3 years old. We know there's a home out there for him, but we are really hoping that he doesn't have to spend a 3rd Christmas in a shelter. Please share Pablo. See more
