Hoff-Barthelson Music School 28.04.2021

Join us on Saturday between 1:15 and 5:00 pm for our annual composition Master Class for young composers, The HB Compose Yourself! Project. This class, with guest composers Andrea Clearfield and Saad Haddad, provides a rare opportunity for students to receive feedback on works that they have written from renowned, award-winning composers. The 2021 Virtual Spring Benefit will honor and celebrate Dean Emerita Ruth Alperson for 42+ years of service as a cherished member of our faculty, including 21 years as Dean. To honor Ruth, the School has established The Ruth Alperson Fund for Excellence in Music Education to support outstanding programs and practices she has developed with faculty over her tenure.
