Valois Logan Hector Volunteer Fire Company

The officers and members of the Valois Logan Hector Volunteer Fire Company are sad to announce the passing of Past Fire Chief John Mason on 10/31/2020. John was active with VLH for over 50 years serving as Fire Chief in the early 70's, as well as several Assistant Chief, Safety Officer and Deputy Chief terms. John also served on the Board of Directors. John was a life long citizen of Hector. John retired from the Office of Fire Prevention and Control in 2001. John also... worked for Schuyler County as a Dispatcher and as the Fire Coordinator. We have talked with John's family and there will be a service in the future - but nothing scheduled at this time.
