Hello everyone! We’re hoping for a tentative Re-opening on June 10th, 2020! Fingers crossed and masks on! Here is some information we would like to share with everyone going forward for the remainder of 2020: -Given the recent media attention to COVID-19, and the potential for its spread, Helene Power Photography would like you to know what precautions we take on a regular basis but even MORE so now: -Every indoor studio session for the remainder of 2020 calendar will be a m...ini session (meaning cakesmash minis and newborn wrapped sessions ONLY, no siblings will be allowed in the studio) NO FULL SESSIONS WILL BE DONE. This will be done to limit the amount of time spent in the studio (30 minutes) and to limit the amount of people in my studio space. -We have been routinely cleaning frequently touched surfaces (for example: equipment, tables, doorknobs, light switches, handles, carts). We use Lysol and bleach based disinfectants. Cleaning will occur immediately prior to and immediately after each session. -We are now limiting the amount of sessions in studio to ONE per day. Meaning you will be the only clients allowed in the studio on the day of your appointment. No one will be in there before or after you. We’re also limiting the amount of people at your session to you and your baby or child ONLY. No siblings, aunts, uncles, grandparents etc. -Washable fabric items (for example: bed linens, blankets, photography props) will be laundered prior to each session. Non-washable fabric and knit items will be spot cleaned when necessary, and run through a 30 minute dryer cycle on high. -No outside props will be allowed in as it is against our studio health policy and it helps minimize contact and what we touch. -Please let me know if you or your children are feeling sick. Clients are never penalized for rescheduling due to illness. If I am feeling ill, or someone in my household is feeling ill. I will let you know as soon as possible. In the event a reschedule is not feasible, a referral to another local photographer may be offered. -Every newborn session done for the foreseeable future will be done wearing a mask for added protection. -Shoes must be removed and hands will be sanitized upon entering our studio space. - Personal belongings including purses, diaper bags, sunglasses are to be left in the car or placed in a designated bin that is sanitized before and after each session. FYI...So as of yesterday the photography studio has to be "shut down" to be in compliance with the government order of the closing of all non-essential businesses. I am completely devastated over all of of this. I am postponing (not canceling) all sessions, until further notice and they allow me to re-open. I am so disappointed but I know you all understand! The safety of my littlest clients is always my first priority. Please everyone stay safe and healthy. I love you all. <3
