On to applying the copper patina to the memorial bench. After the forging and fabrication of the bench was completed it was wire brushed clean. The patina is ac...tual copper I dissolved into a solution. When that solution is applied it potentiates a week electrical current and plates copper onto the steel. Heat of the big torch controls the reactive time and depth of color.
