Helping Hands saw a need and filled it. The HH Volunteers rallied to the task and the community sent contributions making it possible to give away more then 220 Thanksgiving dinner baskets. Each one had a beautiful turkey and all the fixings.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the Bundled event at Evergreen last weekend! We still have some clothing items (coats, gloves, hats, scarves, socks and... boots) and wanted to make them available to the community this Tuesday (November 3) from 10am-2pm at New Hope Community Church. Helping Hands, in Hannawa Falls, will be offering Thanksgiving food boxes, to include all of the fixings for a Thanksgiving dinner. Food boxes are limited in number. For those in need of a Thanksgiving meal, a box must be reserved through Helping Hands. To reserve a Thanksgiving box, please call Linda at 401-465-1752 by November 1, 2020. Pick-up of food boxes will take place at Helping Hands on November 21st, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Pick-up will be a dri...ve-through format and please wear a mask when you come to pick up your order.
