See what the new book shelf holds.....lots of new books. See something you like, call and we can check it out to you and put it in the lobby for you to pick up. If you want to browse, call for an in-person appointment. This is perfect weather to get cozy with a good book.

The weather is cold outside; but, lucky for you, we have many new hot titles available for you to check out. Call for an in-person appointment, or let us know what you would like. We can put your selections in the lobby for "Grab and Go" service.

The Henderson Free Library will be CLOSED on Monday, Jan. 18, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. We will reopen Tues. morning at 9 a.m. for appointments or "Grab & Go."

Today's walk down memory lane include photos from Ron Cain's Magic Show, Rick West's Birds of Prey. In addition, the kids had a story time adventure adventure visiting and learning about the Henderson Ambulance and Fire Dept. Tell us about your favorite event you have seen posted.

Here's Riley with his Yeti snow monster craft. So cute. He named him "T". It's easy to see all the kids had fun stuffing their new soft pals. Thank you to parents and grandparents for supervising these projects.

R.I.P John Le Carre. Thank you for all the great adventures. He was a British author well known for his spy novels.

I realize "this books' isn't correct English....but I still like the concept.

The library will be CLOSED on Wednesday, November 11 in observance of Veteran's Day. We will reopen for appointments on Thursday morning at 9 a.m.

Great time to stock up on winter squash and maybe some applesauce for the freezer.

Today's walk down memory lane highlights a variety of programs and story times. Stuffed Animal Sleepover Party, Halloween Party, Xmas Party, an Open House, etc. Oh what fun! I hope these bring a smile to you today.

We miss hosting programs....darn Covid. As soon as we are able, we have plans for some fun programs for all ages.

With snow this morning, it's a perfect day to post pictures from our 2019 Polar Express Interactive Movie. Sponsored by the Henderson Library, Henderson Fire Dept., and Henderson Performing Arts, this was such a magical, fun event. "The Butler Did It" players were awesome portraying the conductor and other characters from the movie. At the end of the movie, the kids received a silver bell and could have their photo taken with the Conductor. Hopefully we can host this program again next December. Enjoy the walk down memory lane.

Sharing a bit of sunshine today. Thank you to a very special patron who has been bringing me flowers weekly. Her garden has been amazing this summer and into late fall. These are not from her garden; but still beautiful and they bring a bit of sunshine to all our visitors. Thank you Cynthia.
