#TBT #Lighthouse #history In 1837 Congress appropriated $3,000 for a lighthouse to mark Stoney Point, in the town of Henderson, NY. The lighthouse was built on five acres purchased from John Littlefield for $100. The lighthouse was completed and operational by the end of 1838. Have you been to Stony Point Lighthouse?
