Highland Yoga & Dance

We’ve been working on opening the hips this week and I’ve been able, for the FIRST TIME EVER, to get into lotus pose on one side. In my wildest dreams, I never expected to be able to get here. Perhaps Blake remembers that when I first started taking classes with her I was barely able to lower my hips in a squat. It’s been 24 years of fairly consistent practice but here I am. Consistency is the key! Enjoying the sensations, both pleasant and challenging, but never painful, is the mindset that has enabled me to have that "very pleased with myself look on my face. Evening classes work better for you? Yoga with Blake on Monday and Thursdays at 5:30 PM. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Classes are now offered on: Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 9:00 AM.... Sunday, every 2nd week at 10:15 AM. Monday and Thursday at 5:30 PM. Only 6 socially distanced slots are available to allow for a greater sense of security while indoors.
