PLEASE BE ADVISED: With weather permitting the Town of Rochester Highway Department will be Oil and Chipping the following roads: ( Berme Rd from Accord to Kerhonkson, Rock Mountain Est.off of Queens Hwy, Krum Rd and Fischer Rd) from June 4th through 6th.

PLEASE BE ADVISED: Sahler Mill Rd ( 1 mile in from Queens Hwy) * Will be CLOSED MAY 26th between the hours of 7:00 a.m -2:30 p.m due to road maintenance until further Notice.

PLEASE BE ADVISED: City Hall Rd by Mail Box 98 will be closed on 5/13/2020 from 7:00 a.m - 2:30 pm due to road work!

PLEASE BE ADVISED: Sundown Rd by Box 165 will be closed on Thursday May 7th from 7:00 a.m to 2:30 pm

PLEASE BE ADVISED: Boodle Hole Bridge will be CLOSED May 13th until further notice.

PLEASE BE ADVISED : Schroon Hill Rd by Box 315 will be CLOSED on 5/5/2020 from 7:00 a.m to 2:30 pm due to road work.

PLEASE BE ADVISED:The road work for APRIL 1,2020 on Clove Valley Rd has been RESCHEDULED to APRIL 7th .Clove Valley Rd will be closed near mailbox #223 Clove Valley Rd, between the hours of 7:00 am and 2:30 pm

PLEASE BE ADVISED: Due to road conditions there is no thru traffic on Schroon Hill Rd from March 9th until further notice!

PLEASE BE ADVISED.: On FRIDAY SEPT. 27th between 7am and 2 pm the road will be closed by the intersection of Mettacahonts Rd and Boodle Hole Rd due to Road Maintenance.

PLEASE BE AWARE!! During the week of August 19th the Town of Rochester Highway Department will be doing ditch work and cleaning under the guide rails on Queens Hwy between mailbox numbers 55-88. Traffic will be down to one lane. There maybe delays.

On Monday, August 5, 2019, the Town of Marbletown Highway Department will be conducting road work on Cherry Hill Road in the Town of Marbletown. While this work is being completed, Rose Hill Road will be closed to thru traffic in the Town of Rochester. ONLY local traffic and school buses will be permitted. Please use caution when traveling in this area.

Scheduled Road Work: Temporary road closures and detours, will take place between Monday, July 15, 2019 and Friday, July 26, 2019 from 7a.m. 2:00 p.m. During the week of July 15,2019, the Highway Department will be replacing a culvert pipe on Queens Highway between Terwilliger Road and Piazza Road. Southbound traffic will be detoured onto Piazza Road. All Northbound traffic will be detoured onto Terwilliger Road. Its anticipated that the replacement of the culvert pipe will... take approximately 4 hours. Once the work has been completed, the road will be re-opened. Additionally, during the week of July 22, 2019, the Highway Department will be conducting paving on parts of Elizabeth Street, Sheldon Street Extension, Queens Highway, and Bakertown Road. Please use caution during July 15th thru July 26, 2019, when traveling in these areas.

Tuesday May 14th Bakertown Road will be temporarily closed due to road work between 8:30am- 2:30pm
