Installed an Eternal Hybrid water heater today. It's like a tankless in its operation, except it has a 1.8 gallon tank inside. This way, low flow draws of hot water are possible. With a straight tankless, the flow rate must be high enough to get the unit to fire. Stainless Steel tank and cabinet. Mobile home approved. Three sizes and if you need LOTS of hot water, the ability to install multiple units in tandem. 97% efficiency.

Been a little busy the last couple days, but it'll calm down soon. Bought a handy little tool this week. Electronic combustible gas leak detector. It's not perfect, but it has already found a phantom leak. Nothing would bubble and I suspected the leak to be outdoors and following the line inside. The new tester proved my suspicions correct. The leak is after the meter, so pretty low pressure, and very low concentration in the house. But the nose knows. We'll get that fixed up real soon.

30 degrees is decent weather for changing furnaces. Out with the old, inefficient, maybe inadequate in the morning and heat's back on by nightfall. 95% efficient, very quiet, better filtration (less dust in the house). Remember, my roots are in service, not sales. Dependability of the equipment we install is of utmost importance, both to you AND us.

Gonna be pretty cold this week, folks. Your equipment is gonna be running hard as we will see what is called "design temps." Make sure your forced air systems have clean filters. Also, if you use night setback, it will take much longer to come up to day setpoint when it's so cold out. Not a bad idea to not set it back, or not as much.

Well, I believe the last AC install of the year is done. Three Mitsubishi ductless splits, 3 ton each at North Park Wesleyan Church in Cuba. They're happy and I'm happy. :)
