Looks like shutdown may be inevitable, (IF a shutdown does happen, we will be open for Takeout only!) if that does happen, my hope is that everyone can try to stay positive and healthy. Find the silver lining, spend time with your loved ones, call an old friend, support local businesses, be kind, smile, take care of those in need. Be smart. I wish this could just go away, but it’s not going to, so let’s keep pushing forward to better ourselves. We are strong, we can handle wh...at is thrown at us. Try to control your anger, think and be positive. To all local leaders, newly assembled task force agents, DOH, and SLA employees, I do not envy your duties and or the position you have been put in to make these decisions, it cannot be easy. Thank You to everyone checking in today and for your continued support and concern. Yes, we were visited this past weekend by the Department of Health, and they provided us with proper mask regulations and guidance due to a mask violation (Our bartender took mask down to drink water, away from the 4 customers at the bar at 11:30pm) We addressed the problem immediately, and Department Of Health cleared us. Thank you to the Health Department for keeping us on our toes and flatt...ening the curve, it can’t be an easy task to tackle, and we respect your diligence, and duties. To all Restaurant owners and employees, let us be a lesson for all of you. Learn from our mistakes no matter how big or small. Keep on keeping on, follow the rules and regulations set forth for us. We are in this together. On a positive note we are batting 7/8 for Health Department visits since March, the other 7 visits we passed with flying colors, and were even complimented. That being said, I think as an establishment we are doing great with following the orders, and I need to take a moment to thank my amazing employees for sticking with us during these odd and unprecedented times. You have all been wonderful and a joy to work with. Let’s stick to the rules, let’s stick together, we got this. Love you all. 2 windy days along Lake Erie froze Hoaks with some of the thickest ice we have seen in a long time! Thank you to all our Staff & Customers for sharing their great shots! Pictures do not do justice!
