Summer Camp Spotlight : Specialty Tennis Edition! About Tennis Directors Sunny & Eddie F.: Both have been Camp Directors for 35 summers (that's as long as HSC has been open!) Both are certified by the USTA SAFESPORT which involves a background check and lessons for dealing with children and tennis... Both have coached High School Tennis & Division-1 Hofstra Tennis Teams Both have coached the Nassau County Tennis Teams at the State and Empire Games levels Sunny teaches Tennis at LIU CW Post Sunny was the coordinator of Tennis for Nassau County Girls' High School Tennis Sunny is currently on the board of the USTA Long Island and is the LI Moderator for the USTA Long Island Facebook Page In 2016, the USTA presented Eddie with the prestigious "Vitas Gerulaitis For The Love of Tennis Award" In 2019, Sunny was the USTA Eastern "Woman of the Year" and in 2020, was inducted into the USTA Eastern "Hall of Fame" See more
