Hello, my name is Phoebe and since my freshman year I've been part of the intervarsity chapter at Hofstra University. In the beginning of my freshman year, I made a promise that I would join a Christian club not only as a way to be around other Christians but to really start my journey in becoming closer to God and be follower of his. Ever since then IV has become a club that has meant so much and one that I want to help out as much as possible even recently joining the event... planner community. I would say that IV is a club that has helped me grow in so many ways especially in my spiritual aspect and I have meet so many wonderful people there as well. In terms of my journey to be a follower of Jesus that has been a hard but filling journey with downs but a lot of ups. I was born to a Christian family, but it was not until a few years ago that I really wanted to take that step to become a follower of Jesus be closer to him and now I fully realize the joy of having Jesus in my life. God is working throughout my life in small and big ways and has been a great source of my spiritual growth by providing the strength that makes me keep moving forward no matter how difficult the journey has been. I am excited for the future and my journey. See more
