While the pandemic has limited the number of tenants' rights workshops we've been able to put on, we did this live workshop back in August with Old First Ward Community Center and you can still watch it! The only things that have changed since then have to do with the eviction moratorium, and we'll have an update on that here soon. If you want to know your rights as a tenant, check out the video (presentation starts around 4:30 into the feed)!

Election Day is on the horizon. Make sure you know your rights before arriving at your polling place to ensure that your voice is heard.

HOME is teaming up with the Unitarian Universalist Church of Buffalo for our first Kind Hearts, Warm Soles Sock Drive! Throughout the month of January, we will be collecting pairs of new socks to be donated to Friends of Night People, an organization that offers support to the homeless community in Buffalo. This just in: "The National Fair Housing Alliance, the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, Inc., Fair Housing Advocates of Northern California, and BLDS, LLC filed a federal lawsuit to challenge the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s recent reversal of long standing fair housing protections."
