Hello Quick update for Town of Hoosick Youth Baseball and Softball. At this time we are planning on having a season and hoping to start on time. Registration at this time has a tentative date of February 1st. We will not be offering an early bird special this year and everyone will be required to sign up online. Hello All, I regret to inform you that our 2020 little league baseball and softball season is canceled. We as a board have decided that it is in the best interest for everyone involved to not have a season and to put safety above all other things. We would like to thank all of you for being patient during this time and allowing us to make the best decision possible. We would also like to thank everyone who signed their child or children up and to all the volunteers and spo...nsors who were willing to help out as well. Everyone will be given a full refund...please just be patient we will get them to you as quick as we can. We are sorry for the boys and girls who would have been graduates this year but your career is not over and we wish you all the best in the future. We hope to see everyone back next year and it will be great to see our young boys and girls playing ball again. Stay safe everyone and we look forward to seeing you all next year. Hello All I just wanted to give everyone an update as to where we stand right now with the upcoming season. We as a board have decided to follow with the CDC guidelines at this time, which is an 8 week quarantine basically. Little league itself has said that they are not allowing anything until May 11th which is right around where the 8 weeks falls. As you may know we are not sanctioned through little league (we are an independent league) but we tend to follow little leag...ue guidelines. So that being said we are still planning on having a 2020 season we just don't know what that will look like at this time. If all goes well we are looking to start up with practices around the 11th of May and starting games by the end of May early June. We are working closely with the other towns in our league and hopefully we will all be on the same page so we can put together a full schedule. All of this is subject to change due to the situation at hand...we as a board will always put the health and safety of all of our players, coaches and other volunteers first. Hello Just wanted to let people know that we have the cages up if you would like to use them. This is not for groups of people at one time, you will have to police yourselves and continue to keep your social distancing. If you are using the cages be courteous to others who would like to use them as well, you may have to rotate out but please keep a healthy distance from one another. If we find that this is not happening we will be forced to take them down something we r...eally don't want to do so please follow the rules. Thank You Josh Whalen

Getting your baseball player a bat? Only USABaseball certified bats can be used. Make sure your bat has a logo on it like the one pictured below. The logo was changed in 2018 so check the logo!
