Thank you to the 6 or 7 folks who donated their bottles to us via Nickleback. We netted $47 this week. Every bit helps!!!

The Town of Hoosick Community Center, like so many other businesses, is working toward figuring out how to provide a safe environment based upon NY State Covid guidelines. We do not anticipate open gym hours at this time, however we are looking at workouts and possibly coaching clinics in small groups. That being said, along with Covid guidelines, we have to consider the associated costs for cleaning supplies and sanitizing equipment, not to mention our staff & heating costs.... We will not be doing memberships this year but we do hope to figure out ways to work with our coaches to do safe, social distanced programs for a fee. Currently, we are looking at bringing Guy Waltman in for strength training & basketball. Class sizes would be 10 or less and we are looking at Wednesday & Thursday nights. The cost would be $80 a month for 4 one hour sessions. If you think this is something your child would be interested in please just reply with yes so we can gauge interest. If we have enough interest we hope to start up quickly with slots filled on a 1st come basis. Once we have interest gauged, we will put out more information on the guidelines that need to be followed and sign up information. Sessions would be for grades 5/6, 7/8, and 9-12th. If enough interest we could separate out girls & boys. If you have your own group of 10- let us know.

Coming to our community this week!

The Youth Center would like to thank Village Pizzeria & Deli for their month of March Giving Back Fundraiser. Village Pizzeria raised $196 on their special for the month and donated another $304 for a total donation of $500. We can’t thank you enough Village Pizzeria & we can’t wait to get open.
